City Hunter Predator

Predator: “City Hunter”

Cinty Hunter, or Urban Hunter was the star of the popular sequel; Predator 2. This Predator came with more technology and weapons than the first Predator. City Hunter had a newly designed mask, along with a spear, new plasma caster, smart disc and many more weapons and tools. He stalks and kills various gang leaders and police in L.A during violent outbreaks in the streets. We later find out that his entire clan is hiding in an abandoned subway station, or sewer pipe, underground near the end of the film. As usual, this Predator dies in an epic, hand-to-hand fight to the death with our macho hero; Danny Glover.

Classic Weapons

The wristblade have more of a rusty semi-bronze look, smaller, but sharper and sleaker. Nothing really changed.

The Plasmacaster is more flat than round, shorter, and more compact then the original plasma weapon. This one inflicts more precise damage on targets, but with less explosive force. It also has a lock on targeting system with the correct vision mode, like the first model.

New Weapons

The Smart Disk is a new Predator weapon that almost looks like a futuristic plate with sharp edged sides that can slice through tough skin and armor. It also acts like a boomerang that returns to the owner.

The Combistick is a new weapon that acts like a “Crowd Control” weapon that can do sweep and crushing blows to opponets and have barbed sharp tips on each side. Heavier looking, longer, and with the power of two sleghammers.

The Arm cannon acts like the plasmacaster, only without the lock on system.

The Speargun is a mystery weapon. No one knows what it looks like. Some say it is a pistol-like weapon wile others say its a rifle-like weapon. All we know is that the ammunition is durable, has almost no wieght and can be fired without noise. The SpearGun is more of a “Kill ” weapon then a “Capture ” weapon.

Vision Modes

There are several new vision modes that are new to the univeres but not fully explained. Thermal Vision tracks down the heat of other creatures, like warm-blooded mammals. UltraSpectrum vision alows the Predator to seee through nitrogen gases and see Ultraviolet light. There is a Green colored vision mode that can be described as either Tech Vision or Alien Vision. Another color is Orange, but its use is unknown.
