Scar Predator

Predator: “Scar”

Scar is one of the young teenage Predators present in Alien vs Predator. He is the “main Predator character” in the film and teams up with Alexa Woods to combat the growing Alien threat. Scar is seen to have the most common Predator weapons; Wrist Blades, Plasma Caster, Shurikken and Combistick. Scar faces many Aliens in the film and manages to defend himself well. After entering deeper int the Pyramid, him and Alexa discover the Egg Chambre, and Scar plants his nuclear self destruct device on a timer. From that point, Scar and Alexa run to escape the blast, but Aliens slow them down by ambushing them at the lift. Scar and Alexa manage to escape, but are only left to face a very angry, freed Alien Queen. They battle on for a while until Scar is stabbed throgh the chest cavity by the Queens large tail. Luckily, Alexa manages to release a water tankw hich the Queen is tied to and she is dragged deep below the sea… but Scar us left with a deadly wound, and he dies shortly after.

Classic Weapons

New weapons include a new look on the Combistick, Wristblades, and Plasmacaster. Other Weapons included a wrist-netgun,Long Blades(or Maul). Scar’s superweapon is the Self-Destruct Atom Bomb which took out the entire hive in order to stop an infestation spreading to the human population on Earth.

They also have heavier body armor even though it dosen’t seem to do so well agianst an Alien’s acid blood.

New Weapons

The Combistick gets a new look, that is slimmer, sleaker, more compact, and more edged. It does more edged damage then blunt damage, meaning that it slices more then it breaks bones. It can be able to do more sweep, strike, and “push” attacks quicker then the heavier bronze one(seen in Predator 2), while the bronze did more internal damage. This combistick is durable and acid-proof, but can be worn down and broken in half with tremodous force.

The Shurikken is a “Quiet” counterpart to the Smart Disk, but more vulnurable to direction change then the Smart Disk. While the Smart Disk has a small chip that can manuver itself towards prey, the shurken must be thrown the old fasion way, but flies more quietly and quickly. Also Acid-proof and can be used in close combat too.

Vision Modes

The thermal vision mode now seems to be visible in only red to yellow, as opposed to previous versions which consisted of blues, greens and reds. This could be due to the significant low temperature of the hunting climate in which they were in, so the sensitivity on the heat detection may have been increased.
